Touch Me Not

These have got to be one of the coolest plants in the world! My father-in-law showed them to me while I was in India. The leaves on the plant will actually retract and shrink away from you when you touch it.

Touch one of the fern-like leaves and just that one will fold up. Shake the whole plant and they will all close up on you.

I must've spent a half an hour each time, playing with these plants on two different occasions.
